If you've changed the email of account that has the CD key registered to it (through account settings on Origin's website), log in with the updated email (and password if you've changed it). If you already started the game and forgot the CD KEY CODE do this: open steam client > go to library > games > righ click on Battlefield Bad Company 2 and click GET CD KEY. Then you must be logging in with an account that's different to the one you originally registered the CD key to. man, it says that i already used it tho, so it doesnt work for me. When I tried to log in it asked for a serial key, then I typed it in and it said 'Key is already in use'. Make sure the account you used to log in on is the same account you're using to sign in when you boot up the game.īy any chance are you running Steam through adminstrator mode? Not sure if it will solve this issue in particular, but running Steam as an admin is a good idea in general as it's kind of a blanket cover "fix-all-issues" solution to a lot of technical issues. Enter the product code through that and launch Bad Company 2 through Steam again. After clicking that there should be Add A Game at the top right-hand of the webpage. you just have to keep contacting ea until they add the game to your account so you wont need a key to play. Tried contacting EA support and they said contact Steam support, tried contacting them and they told me they cant do anything about it and its on EAs end.
